One of the Best Binyang Sour Rice Noodle in Nanning
If you haven't heard of Guangxi Province of China in the past and would like to get to know it from scratch, I think it is quite a brilliant idea, to begin from foods that are famous in Guangxi Province.
Bin Yang Sour Rice Noodle is known as one of the most popular dress cold foods for relieving the summer heat in Guangxi Province, the noodles are made of rice that is smooth and tender, together with spicy, sweet and sour sauce plus irresistible meaty companions such as Char Siu, roast sausage, fried pork, fried pork chop, cured meat, and sides such as pickled radish, peanut kernel, minced garlic to spice up its taste.
I'm already pretty starving and crave for one now...
Lao Binyang Sour Rice Noodle is located at Macun Subway Station entrance C in Nanning, Guangxi Province.
This not-so-eye-catching noodle stall has been doing business selling Binyang Sour Rice Noodle for over decades, probably even older than I am. It opens for business in day time only and you gotta beat some queue to get one usually.
I only got to discover this place as one of my friends in Nanning recommended this, he says you gotta give it a try as it offers super tasty and meaty rice noodle that would definitely stuff your stomach well enough in around RMB12.
It really got me at first when I arrived at the stall seeing all those meaty stuffs displaying at the stall window, couldn't wait to get one.
I must pay a visit ever since and then.
But, there's a catch. The place is simple and crude, and the boss is not always behaving as friendly as you might imagine. I remember there was a time i was so hungry in the morning and got to this place ordering a topped up size sour noodle, the boss asked me impatiently and doubtfully that "are you sure you want to top up that meat? You sure you can finish them?"
Yeah then I was like, you know, use some of your imagination, yeah you got it.....
